Our Crops: Broccoli
East of Scotland Growers has developed into one of the major growers of broccoli in the United Kingdom and Europe.
The health benefits of broccoli consumption are renowned and the possible cancer fighting properties within this product are under research. The potential to reduce vascular heart disease and promote general well-being are also the subjects of various studies.
Our crops are picked and packed in field where possible to ensure maximum freshness and they are then chilled quickly after harvest.
Cooling centres are located on farms and at the East of Scotland Grower central base.
